Yes damnit! Watch the pilot and be confused for a bit like I was. Love the show by the end of the pilot and keep watching. This is definitely a slow burner type show but I love it. All actors/characters are great, love the time period. STFU and marathon this show now!

Elizabeth is more composed. She knows her job is fucked up but she just goes through with it because of some warped sense of idealism. But at least she is consistent.

Both characters are well-written though.
