Kevin will stop her From being vaporized. He gets caught in the chamber himself and is vaporized. Being vaporized, he has no chance of coming back to life. the crew gets arrested after police are alerted to the scene either by Kevin, his group, or bystanders from all the commotion. The project is done and no one will ever be vaporized again. Kevin is resented by Nora because he not only stopped her from seeing her family again, he got to go there instead.
