i agree to an extent but i think its fair to reserve judgement on this until we get more information/footage. lady ghostbusters was an offensively transparent attempt to slap new paint on a long-dead franchise, making the cast all women very obviously make zero difference in terms of what they could do with the plot/characters. not to mention the cast was terrible.

this, on the other hand, is a little different. in the context of heist movies i think an all-female cast definitely changes dimensions of the characters and story, and you could definitely take this angle and use it to craft a new interesting experience. i pretty much only retain interest in this because the casting seems pretty okay and because soderbergh and clooney as producers will hopefully keep it fairly well grounded (although i suppose i really dont know the depth of their involvement, but soderbergh and clooney together in any capacity is usually a recipe for success).

also, just in general, Im always up for another heist movie. lots of fun
