I don't get it, all those movies are cringy as fuck. Same narrative, 'uh dude there's this masked guy trying to spoil us having fun'.

2 - yeah, despite the ending being ambiguous and no hockey mask, it's pretty great. Jason is menacing, sets up lore, sets up the sweater thing which is never repeated if i remember. Great final girl , even paul ain't that bad. Also makes Jason somewhat realistic.

6- just a solid movie, tommy jarvis is great, beginning is kinda odd, but the rest of it is fantastic, a little humorous but still great.

1 - 1 is ok but hardly related to the series after and is almost laughable at the end when pamela suddenly loses all her kill powers and gets decapitated by a lackluster final girl.

3- is the next best in the series even though the 3d gimmick is overused, has the hockey mask, has the only developed character besides maybe tommy in the whole franchise, the nerd prakster actor kid, and the biker gang was neat last minute rescue, plus final girl is great, jason dies in the end with axe in brain - somewhat realistic.

4 - awkward with corey feldman as tommy jarvis, i'd say after 2,6, and 3 four is next although it's more interesting has whats his face from back to the future but meanders quite a bit with old public domain porn and shit. Also the ending is similar to 2 but less realistic and convoluted. It kinda sours 2s ending if you think about it.

takes Manhattan is probably the next best. New Blood and the one where it isn't jason at all can hardly be called FT13 movies - New Blood is carrie v jason crossover that doesn't feel true to the series. Fuck all the rest, remake included.
