They're not trying to kill it. The entire thing was always a gap show. It was something to hype the next MCU movie while taking advantage of the fallout of the last. The design is to keep Marvel in your mind between releases.

Didn't read your post fully. I gave MAoS a chance because I like Jed&Mo, liked it for the period they were allowed to be in control, then stopped liking it when outside influences bore down to change the show into something completely different.
