If I was in charge of MCU I'd just have the Spider-Man movies revolve around the villain and have Peter be the obstacle, we all know Peter, his backstory, etc. His villains aren't giving a lot of development in movies which I think is needed.

Like you said, TDK has elements of it with Batman being a terrifying force of nature for criminals, but I want to see it from their perspective.
