You could argue the film was anti-gay, since David was portrayed as a psychotic madman hellbent on his derranged experiments. (Homosexuality being one of them hehe)

There's a lot of christian themes in the movie that people seem to be ignoring. The aliens are even alluded to be the physical manifestation of satan at one point. Another example is David's last line to Walter: "So what will it be? Serve in heaven or reign in hell?"

There's a dead crewmember with her head floating in a sink in front of them. David is just casually talking to a xenomorph and going on about horses and shit, gets super angry when you do the right thing and shoot it. Switches gears like 10 seconds later and says he wants to show you his kickass lab setup he's got going on.

The worst case of fucking stupid in prometheus was not running sideways. In this one we got a captain who basically died from stupidity itself.
