What I find most odd is that Casino Royale is the only Bond film ever with an actual proper card game. The other card games in the other Bond films just make up for filler and to show "LOOK HERE'S BOND IN A CARD GAME".

This is shameful and they really should focus more on how Ian Fleming wrote the Casino Royale novel instead of how they turned the series: into so much over the top action.

Craig's weakest film is QoS due to it being nothing but bland action almost throughout but at least Casino Royale put the series right. After all; Martin Campbell did a 10/10 job with his GoldenEye. I don't consider that film to be too action wise because re-watching it, there is a lot of heavy dialogue plot stuff in the middle of the film as it breaks for a breather and the action scenes are left near the beginning of the film and near the end.

Skyfall is by far one of the most perfect Bond films. Believe it or not; that film only has about 3 short action scenes

You could count the fight scene in the building but that's not really action I suppose. Even way, that scene is filmed very artistically with great cinematography compared to the horrible shaky cam close up in QoS.

The rest of the film is heavy on dialogue and story driven which is what I loved. Even Spectre didn't dwelve into the sins of Quantum. Despite Blofeld being weak with a bad reason to want to kill Bond, the film still is very good throughout and I do not understand why it gets a lot of hatred despite like I mentioned, Blofeld's motivation needed to be better written.

Still without a doubt: one of the best Bond films ever made is From Russia With Love.

Dominic Greene is the head of a resource acquisition company based in South America. He buys massive tracks of land under the guise that he is searching for oil, but instead he is buying known locations of water reserves, hoarding it, then selling it back to the countries for quadruple the investment.

Bond spends most of the movie crying over the death of Vesper Lynd and seeks vengeance on the people that were partially responsible for her death.

He meets some Mexican girl played by Olga Kuryalenko who has no purpose but to resolve a childhood rape subplot. Bond also meets Agent Strawberry Fields played by Gemma Arterton who has a pretty sexy back, and winds up bukkaked with crude oil.

The movie is good if you watch it immediate after Casino Royale, but otherwise has no purpose, and also has the worst Bond song ever
