Sorry, google, but I'm not going to watch a movie, much less take it seriously, if it's on the same platform that hosts dozens of manchildren yelling at video games, toys, and movies.

Shane Dawson has traveled all around the globe and even did 1/2 way decent movies. At least watching him I can say he's retained a lot of who he is, even if a lot of his videos are for views, but when he wants to try he's not terrible.

I think their marketing team should have spent more time thinking up a name so it wouldn't be so similar to redtube. Also, there's enough out there about YouTube's shitty practices towards content creators that I really don't want to give them any money.

I've got it because it came with Googles music service.
I have literally never watched a single piece of Youtube red content.
It seems the problem with it is that they're competing with Netflix by trying to attract talent with a higher status instead of investing more into content creators on the platform, even those who don't fit the family friendly image they're trying to go for.

There's a video floating around on vid.me with "why vid.me is better for content creators" and in my opinion, they are currently listening to their users like me. Hell, I got verified on the site with my 2nd go. Just told them I wanna do vlogs and make some decent shit and see where it takes me. I can honestly appreciate them more cause they listen to their content creators and letting them have more freedom

Use youtube-dl to download the video in 1080p and then view it with a media player.

Yeah I'm on chrome. I get constant buffering for some reason, but prev I googled it and someone said to block a specific IP from google and it popped up to be 1/2 true so I can watch things at a solid 720 if that counts.
