a dog usually will bite your arm so pretty hard to do a choke with one arm
also you should always aim for the eyes

Nearly constantly. Like that time last week when he defended the Atlantis guy because "he deserves to be heard by the archaeological community." Even though he was no better than a flat earther.

I listened to that podcast for two hours and was like "yeah, Britcuck BTFO the commie California jew professor" until finally one of the guys said 'you thought the world was going to end in 2012' and the Britcuck was at a loss for words and said 'well there's an 83 year period for margin of error'
So embarrassed of myself

Irony is Mencia is and was funnier than Rogan stealing or no stealing. That era he was known as "the Fear Factor guy" and his standup back then was truly terrible. Credit to him the podcast saved his career.

This is why people get fucked up by animals though. At least from what I've seen, it seems like people will just let an animal attack them until they're gravely injured or have been pulled to the ground by the thing out of apprehension against hurting the animal.

I'm sorry, but it takes a wild imagination to conceive a situation where
>Russian state would have (((leaked))) fabricated intelligence memo to the FBI implicating hillary in some kind of conspiracy with George Soros to buy political access (was debunked as russian disinformation last week)
>and would also have launched a massive fake news campaign against hillarys campaign through third party (((news sources))) through non-vetted platforms like Facebook
>and would have used state and privatized hacking operations against dem party and Obama admin targets
But
>would have had no coordination with the candidate who publicly advocated repealing economic sanctions for both parties' financial benefit
>and despite the repeatedly omitted contacts between members of his administration, who had large stakes in de-escalating the sanctions regime (including sec of state tillerson, longtime Exxon Mobil ceo, whose company stood to gain half a trillion from a deal with Russian oil industry

Can you say it with me?
CONGRATULATIONS MADAM PRESIDENT! !

There have been some reports which indicate that, other than a few specific areas he cares about, Trump will just adopt the policy of the last person he talked to on a variety of 'lesser' issues

so its conceivable he is innocent but was manipulated by his subordinates like Kushner or Manafort.

Because if it is a large dog it will likely topple you so when it pounces you use your legs to force it back and then go fucking ham on it's front legs.
>>
>>83294265
This sounds dumb but it works. Big dogs will use their front legs to try and take you down.
So you can do this while standing.

When our dogs would get in a fight I'd usually grab two by the scruff of the neck and push their faces into the dirt.
Then I'd keep hold of their neck and lift them off the ground.
They submit pretty easy after that.
>>
>>83294622
Trump took these positions as a candidate, long before bringing those guys on board. Trump would surely have thrown anyone under the bus to save face in your scenario. It takes a lot of mental gymnastics to see this as anything other than collusion and coverup.

You mean the same FBI who constantly takes credit for dealing with criminal cases they had absolutely nothing to do with? The same FBI which fired upon US citizens and then denied it despite thermal imagining showing it happening?

The same CIA that's not suppose to operate on US soil but does it so openly that people believe it's okay for them to do so? The same CIA that MKUltrad people against their will, admitted to doing so when pressed, and got away just fine because you can't sue the government without the government's permission? The same CIA that killed a man because he didn't want to work with Nazi scientists anymore but knew too much?

Whataboutism is a propaganda technique first used by the Soviet Union (and later, Russia), in its dealings with the Western world.[1] When Cold War criticisms were levelled at the Soviet Union, the response would be "What about..." followed by the naming of an event in the Western world.[2][3] It represents a case of tu quoque (appeal to hypocrisy),[4] a logical fallacy that attempts to discredit the opponent's position by asserting the opponent's failure to act consistently in accordance with that position, without directly refuting or disproving the opponent's initial argument.

At the end of the Cold War, the usage of the tactic began dying out but saw a resurgence in post-Soviet Russia in relation to a number of human rights violations and other criticisms expressed to the Russian government

What does it even mean to "hack an election"? Were the results fabricated/votes fraudulent? Were the contents of the DNC emails falsified? Did Russia pressure Comey into sabotaging the Clinton campaign in the eleventh hour? Did they influence Hillary's decision not to visit the Rust Belt states during her campaign, against the advice of her husband Bill? Was Russia responsible for the DNC going out of their way to ensure Bernie Sanders never had a chance to win the primaries?

I'm not denying the possibility that Russia may have done something, but "hacking an election" seems like a pretty serious accusation and I'm not entirely certain what it's supposed to entail.

Literal fake news. what is your problem?

Comey [then head of the Fbi] confirmed the FBI has been investigating since July Russian efforts to interfere in the election, including any cooperation between Trump's campaign and Moscow. He said that while the Russian government wanted to hurt Clinton's campaign and help Trump's, intelligence agencies made no judgment on whether the efforts influenced the outcome.

Comey gave no details of the classified investigation and said the fact that it exists does not mean charges would be filed.

U.S. intelligence agencies have concluded that Russia tried to help Trump by hacking leading Democrats.

>>83295916

Theres one easy example:
The GOP campaign was also hacked and had emails stolen, but they were never published and this fact only emerged later.
>>
>>83291119
Marc started raping their stupid ideas and Joe quickly got him shuffled off so they could put on some other faggot and make it a 4v1 debate.

Now that, my friend, is a spin.

>Comey later added that "there was evidence of hacking directed at state-level organizations, state-level campaigns, and the RNC, but old domains of the RNC, meaning old emails they weren't using. None of that was released."
>Comey said there was no sign "that the Trump campaign or the current RNC was successfully hacked."
>>
>>83296049

Because its totally unrelated?

The argument is about whether Russia meddled in the election. Whether or not Trump specifically asked Comey to drop the investigation is a seperate issue.

Youre trying to muddy the waters by repeatedly bringing up unrelated shit. Fuck off and/or kys.

>>83296177

Again, voterigging is different to election hacking.

>>83296227

Again, the media being shits about a COMPLETELY unrelated issue doesnt at all affect the facts of the Russia case.
I cant help but feel like you are being duplicitous on purpose, its quite frustrating.
You bring up all this stuff over and over again and everytime i explain why its wrong/misleading/unrelated you just move on and bring up something else.

It smacks of dishonesty.

I lost all respect for the Wall Street Journal when they tried to convince everyone that the annoying European youtube guy was a Nazi just because he made a joke about Hitler.

It wasn't just that they tried to make Pewdiepie out to be a Nazi, it was that they actually went to his employers and got him let go from one of his projects. David Frum might be written off as biased because of the nature of his political experience, but you can tell he has a commanding mastery of the facts every time he opens his mouth, and I respect his intellect

Idk man, politics is a soap opera thats inherently reported with a bias, no matter who reports it, because it's usually just an outside interpretation of insubstantial posturing and performing.

Policy analysis is much more fascinating, and unlike political kabuki, theres a clearer path to objectivity. But major news outlets rarely cover policy analysis beyond a frustratingly glossy generalization. Think tanks are a good source of info but are usually highly partisan sources of policy analysis, but it depends on who they're funded by and associated with (think CATO institute for a good example of pure shillery). University studies are usually solid, but caveat again about who's backing and funding the study

Politifact and other independent fact-checker journalistic outlets are the best for breaking down politics, and sometimes have good insight on policy when it spills into the realm of politics (usually when people make bold claims or to vet the truthiness of bills). I liked AJAM for politics news until they shuttered a few years ago. BBC intl is decent too. Outsider views on politics give an interesting perspective imo

I basically forgive Joe for all the ridiculous shit he says. He's exhibited such an open mind that really just made him a better person than before; he could have just been any old dumb raving motherfucker just like many of his friends but he isn't. And on top of that he has conversations with people I would otherwise never discover. If I had to think of the Top 5 people who affected my life in the most positive manner, Joe is certainly in that list. Shirley Manson - I did not know she was that cool. Sam Harris - I did not know he existed before Joe Rogan. And recently Michael Malice - fucking amazing to hear him talk.

I know that if someone sat down with Joe and talked to him about it similarly to how he's been convinced of this shit he has the neural pathways to find the most logical conclusion.

>>83298810
Thanks.

I can't do Think Tanks. I just don't have the patience to vet something as complex as that. And I can't read university studies anymore - they're the most painful shit to read (and write) and ultimately the only thing that matters is the abstract or concluding statements.

Polifact seems interesting but I feel like it's only going to make me distrust absolutely everything I read from now on. The BBC is good

Basically what I've been doing recently is just finding a smart person (like Sam Harris) and seeing who that person likes then I go to that person and see who they like. So I do have this wonderful network of people I follow for thorough commentary and learning but I don't have any news outlet that I can go to to give me immediate news on shit that's happening NOW. As much as I would love to fucking listen to every committee hearing (I did catch Yates and will catch Comey) there is too much of that shit and I would just like to get some reasonable interpretations instead of reading headlines that say, "Yates blows the fuck out of Cruz in hearing" (and she did, what a piece of shit he was).

I know people eat jalapenos with eggs, which makes for an argument for sauerkraut with eggs.

Personally I don't feel like eggs are good with an vinegary element with them whether they be scrambled or fried or whatever. The creaminess of eggs wants to be paired with something savory. I think when it comes to eggs you don't want to go anything more tangy than tomatoes - pickled jalapenos or sauerkraut is too tangy.

Kraut and pickles are usually paired with highly salty foods to add and elevate the saltiness. If the eggs came with ham or bacon or something like that then sure, kraut and such would be appropriate. But just eggs and toast? Not great.

I skim CNN and Politico a couple of times a day to keep my ear to the ground on politics updates, but that's mostly for entertainment and I try to take anything that's conjecture with a grain of salt.

The difference between tv and online news from the same outlets is pretty startling. Take CNN for example. The online reporting is pretty decent because they tend to stick to facts and reserve judgements - tv news is pretty painful bevause the hosts and guests tend to ad-lib and editorialize. I feel like politics news needs to be reported on by people with a deeper understanding of policy and civics in general. Ironically, MSNBC seems to have some of the most knowledgeable hosts (Steve Kornacki, Chuck Todd, and Chris Hayes are very well informed, but they editorialize a lot, especially Chris Hayes)
>>
>>83299700
They know that the people who read things online demand a higher quality of product whereas the people watching TV can't handle anything more complicated than calling another person a douchebag.

The New Yorker newsstand publication is complete fanatical liberal dogshit but the online-only articles are actually written by reasonable liberal individuals. The online writers aren't allowed to write for the magazine because the readership there are bitches that can't handle critical analysis.

>>
>>83299836
I have to abuse The New Yorker website with private browsing most months to get past the free limit ,] They're very well-written, especially the international affairs pieces, and they're long enough that I can sink my teeth in more than liberal slogans and talking points to find interesting details and accounts

But you're right about that, they rarely deviate from liberal orthodoxy, especially on social issues (which I completely discount as non-issues, though, right or left lean on irrelevant topics like gay rights, social justice etc doesn't really bother me and I just skip those stories anyways)
