Avoid DC movies; they're really boring so the autistic fans spam them on this board; don't wanna end up like those losers. Check out the original Thor, iron man, all of the captain americas are good, and both avengers movies. I would start with Iron man. It kind of kickstarted the mcu.

for DC don't bother with cinematic universe because it's a shitty introduction, watch Burtons Batman movies, maybe Nolan flicks if you steel feel in mood for bat shenanigans

Thanks for the answers. I'm talking in a broad sense, as in should one go for movies first? Or comics first? Should one watch movies ordered by the time they came out? Should you watch them following the chronology of the characters? Should you read about the universes first to understand things that you otherwise wouldn't if you just watched the movies?
