i mean if fincher, the guy whos made 4 movies about serial killers is willing to spend more time with the subject, then he definitely he has something new and fresh up his sleeve.

because you must know already that fincher is autistic when it comes to this shit, he reshoots tons and tons of footage when doing a 2 hour movie, think how much that grows exponentially when he's doing 10 hour (just guessing) series. dude is meticulous serial killer who happenned to like movies and knows how to use a camera. why do you think he likes the subject matter so much lol

Only doing three episodes out of ten; he wanted to do a show for HBO where he would have done all episodes but Netflix probably can't afford that. Which annoys me because HoC went to complete shit after the first two episodes and Netflix people are hacks. I don't wanna start a new series only to have to drop it after three episodes.

Also his next project is World War Z 2 instead of Strangers on a Plane. Disappointing.

Nah, slut with the dragon cooch had fantastic atmosphere and tone. The cold sterile setting is really great against that greasy unsettling feeling of the story.
I'm not the biggest fincher fan, but hes very technically and stylishly competent director.

He doesn't use the CG for you to focus on it, he shoots in green screen so he can have constant unchanged lighting throughout all of the 50 takes he shoots and then adds the background/windows whatever in CG later BECAUSE you don't focus on it at all, but makes his work in the editing far easier.
