Of course it does, Donnie Brasco is 10 times better than Goodfellas simply because it has the core "man in conflict with himself" story, whereas Goodfellas is just a degenerate guy who ends up testifying. Jimmy conway could've been explored way more, so could Henry HIll. It's barely touched upon how he had an abusive father, it's never noted that he had dyslexia and at that time he would never fit in ordinary society.
