The story of Lillyhammer:
S1: Comfy comedy that mocks and celebrates tropes about the Mafia and Norway, while making subtle and astute commentaries about immigration and Norwegian culture
S2: Reheated leftovers, still tasty but getting a little dry. Does feature best episode of the whole series though. Really satisfying ending that wrapped things up nicely.
S3: A season too far. Retarded subplots take over, writers seem to just throw shit at the wall and see if it sticks. No sense of purpose or direction, feels lazy and indulgent. Ends on cliffhanger no-one cares about which is good, because it was cancelled.
