Judging by the tone of this trailer, would you say the movie is more dramatic or a comedy? All indicates that is more dramatic. Then when you go to watch the movie is all fucking comedy and pop songs. That was my disappoiment with this movie. I expected something dark and sinister and it was like guardians of the galaxy.
Also, talking about trailers in general. Are trailers the problem about modern cinema? Almost every movie can look cool and thrilling in a trailer. You can sell almost every movie with a good and effective trailer.

I liked Leto's joker. That movie had a lot of problems, but his performance wasn't one of them

Yes, that is the point of a trailer. To get people to go see it.
If you want to talk about being misled by a trailer watch Colossal or World's greatest dad. Both movies are way darker than their trailers would lead you to believe.
True films lovers hardly ever watch trailers

austin powers is better

Leto gave an great performance for a poorly written and poorly directed character
It's always pissed me off when people blame the actor for a character being shitty when they were given goddamn nothing to work with - the Star Wars prequels are a classic example of great talent looking like utter retards because the director/writer didn't know what the fuck he was doing

I'm starting to like it too. I didn't like it when I first watch the movie because of my overall dissapoiment about the movie but yeah it is getting better with time I think. At least is something different.

You are talking about Mace Windu right?
Damn Samuel L. Jakcson worst performance ever, his tone is so bland.
>>83212824
Samuel L Jackson, Natalie Portman, Ewen MacGregor, Liam Neeson - just to name a few
Shit, even Hayden Christensen is nowhere near as bad of an actor as the prequels made him look
>>83212895
>Natalie Portman
Ehhhhhhh, outta of all listed, she probably gave the weakest performance
Can we talk about how it's becoming common for them to out shit in the trailer that isn't even in the movie?

>Are trailers the problem about modern cinema?
Yes.
They release too many and give too much away.

This trailer likely was accurate when it first released. However, after the massive buzz of the second trailer, WB re-cut the film with that trailer's editing studio.
