I know you're not actually believing it, but a lot of people had their worldview destroyed when they aired that punishment where they made Sal think he was being interviewed by Homeland Security

In the interrogation they turned over raw footage that didn't make air, and it was the guys brainstorming about what Sal should do to "do it better" In the show they made it seem like Sal thought of it right away, but the footage clearly shows the guys all discussing it

It was the "do it better" challenge. Sal and Murr are each trying to steal someone's nose better than the other. In the show it's shown as they're coming up with the stuff right away. In the raw footage they're all talking about how Sal should steal the nose off the statue. It wasn't even Sal's idea

Watch season 1 and 2. Those are truly improvised challenges because people get legitimately mad at them. Remember the "Hey Mustache" guy from s1? The dude was fucking mad at Q. They got notes from the network to be more friendly, so they started making more non-confrontational challenges
