I heard a lot about Patrice O'Neil and wish him the best in whatever lies beyond.

George Carlin.
His best special is "Playing With Your Head"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ULNX2k0YbI
It's a very 'observational' special- no ranting or anger. Just funny jokes.

>Entry points
Ideal entry points could be suggested, but then it would get sloppy depending on your taste. Just watch the most popular Netflix ones and go see who those ones compare to and go from there. No use going straight to Carlin/Pryor/etc because you wont really appreciate what you're seeing anyway.
>no one says John Mulaney
John Mulaney is stand-up that anyone can get into. That dude has mass appeal stand-up down to an art.
Doug Stanhope - No Refunds, Deadbeat Hero
Jim Norton - Mouthful of Shame
Nick DiPaolo - Raw Nerve
