but you have to present it somehow to make it believable, from what i remember the movie moved on very quickly from the stabbing and the child actor also didnt look very convincing when hes holding the knife. its just the bare minimum of what you can call an introduction to the character. and from then on people just keep saying how evil he is but whenever he stalks or kills someone he seems pretty relaxed or even unmotivated.

Well I can appreciate that aspect of it. Considering the small budget they had, the film can be quite effective at times.
It's just that they build up tension very well but as soon as it comes to the jumpscares or confrontational moments it gets unintentionally funny.
In my opinion earlier films like the Exorcist or the Tenant did a much better job at creating a creepy atmosphere and effectively scary scenes.

Does anyone else actually kind of like Resurrection? It's not GOOD but it's fairly entertaining and has some good kills. I like Michael in it and Busta Rhymes is hilarious.

It's one of those things were I feel most fans hate it because the opening undoes the perfect ending to H20 but past those fifteen (?) minutes I don't think it's all that bad.
