Lurking. I haven't seen The Raid, Dredd or Winter Soldier (not a superhero fan). Which should I watch first? Would I like Winter soldier if I don't like capeshit generally? I did enjoy Logan.

just watch in the order you posted, the raid is the best out of the 3, you should also watch the raid 2, it has maybe even the better fights than the first, the problem is that the story is more convoluted and stretched out. dredd is pretty good, its very heavy on the gun aspect so its different than the raid. winter soldier is alright, i dont get the hype entirely. sure there are some cool fights that might be impressive for capeshit but its nowhere close to the raid.

i didnt like it much, its not really an action movie and i thought there was barely and tension in it, but it does look nice and gets a lot of praise.

other action movies id recommend are apocalypto, hardcore henry and if youre not totally against anime adaptions then the cgi movie Gantz:O, it came out last year and its pretty graphic and high quality.

JW2 fucking sucked, the only great action movie since 2000 is The Raid 1.
