Will 'The Predator' be the first truly bad Predator movie?

you never saw predator 2?

AvP movies were already truly bad years before The Predator.

Give me one valid reason why this flick had to wait and come out in 2018 and not at least 20 years ago.

another AVP prolly won't be made until Ridley Scott dies, man seems to have a hateboner the size of texas for the 2 series crossing over and since he's taken back the reigns to the series he's been a complete dickbutt about everything Alien not solely created about himself.

With the right budget though and a faithful adaption of the original AVP comic about Machiko Noguchi could easily be doable.
