What aspect of The Wire isn't realistic because I'm a recovering drug addict who can vouch that the criminal aspect of The Wire is 90% accurate and that literally every other movie or tv show that involved drugs gets it wrong. I can't vouch for the police newspaper or political angle though if that's what you're referring to.
