I generally like his appearance overall. Him looking like a more traditional knight in space is a nice contrast compared to the silly hairstyles they had Vader in. He comes across as a conflicted young man rampaging through the galaxy. The crossguarded sword took a little getting used to, but overall I like it better than a plain red saber or ripping off the double-sided one Maul used.

He's the best actor and best new character in the Episode 7.
