Who put the wormwhole next to saturn? Is it future humans ("they") that survived the extinction on earth so that they could save the rest of humans?

Humans have at one point in the future, become 4 dimensional beings. They create a wormhole in the past for humans to escape into, securing their own future.

The idea is that these gods knew and took action to ensure beings of that timeline could save their species.
Two problems...
One, how did he survive travel into a black hole and how did a super gravitational pit in space allow him to escape the boundaries of space-time
And two, why did Arrival steal this bullshit idea?
