I like boyega's character, he feels like an actual human being and not like some token black guy they threw in there because 'muh diversity'.
He's couragious, but not overly brave, still can be scared and hesitant.
He's fairly intelligent, but not nerdy.
He's not autismo but he's not quite a lady's man.
Just a real dude and you really don't get the feeling that the color of his skin has anything to do with his character
