It has great production design, but the writing is shit tier, which sucks because it has a sort of cool premise with the East India Company and the Nootka sound stuff, it's just get booged down with Hardy's manlet overcompensation, and plot holes.

I mean the whole edgelord negro/native american mysticism WHICH never gets resolved, fully taken advantage off or even explained, is just unnecessary.
