This is literally in my top 5 favorite films and I have never met someone who has heard of it before I told them, nor is it ever on /tv/ except when I post about it.
It is literally the GOAT cult-thriller. This movie has more tension than 99% of movies released nowadays.
But normies get triggered by the ending because they fell into the movies trap and got tricked so it "sux"
Even the trailer is kino (Though if you are sensitive to spoilers only watch till the gun scene)

i'll check it out, looks neat
have quite a few, but one of the first that comes to mind is mosquito on the tenth floor. 80s japanese character-study of a poor and depressed police officer who slowly snaps more and more. kitano is in one scene and the main character is played by rockstar yuya uchida.
it also falls under ALIMONY core.

love this, spent forever trying to find it, and it payed off. essential film to watch at four in the morning, no other film has perfectly captured the feeling of being lost and driving around on dark empty roads. hope to see more jon jost, all of his films are obscure and hard to find.
