This. In hindsight the 2000s made for pretty interesting history. The movies and music of the time feel almost like propaganda watching them now, with police officers being romanticised, american flags everywhere. Watch the raimi spiderman movies for essential 2000s-core to see what i mean. 9/11 changed everything. For the worse mostly.

2010s feel like a cultural wasteland. Hopefully its just because we're living it now and it'll seem better in hindsight. But i really dont know what to make of these past few years. Plus theres still more to go.
