I have not seen Inland empire, I have seen bits of Mulholland drive.
I have seen the two episodes, they are dark, they introduce a lot of characters, some die very soon, it has the intro but while different the focus is not just on Twin Peaks but New York and other places.

More questions, no answers, if you thought it was going to be "alright, 25 years and then cooper is out to clean his name" well is not so easy, it seems clear that this is not just about closing what we knew of Twin Peaks but there is something more, more than a doppelganger and BOB, there is something else.

The shots looks good, but different than the TV series, the transition between the old film shots and the digital is seamless even if you can still tell the difference, the Room is not a CGI fuckfest, it feels as real as place like that can feel.

I couldn't watch TP when it originally aired because it was so BORING. Every time I tuned in, it was people talking in a room. That's it. And if I stayed long enough to hear what they were saying, they would be talking about NOTHING. I figured out that I couldn't follow the plot, (or had to make one up) because there WAS NO PLOT. A man went to a town to investigate a murder. That's it. Nothing else ever happens. Just people talking in rooms. And all this taking NEVER advanced the murder investigation ONE BIT. I liked the part that I was in, (because I was in it), but it still didn't make a hoot of sense. Hard to watch.

Watching on a SHARP Aquos 43" 4k ethernet from a comcast 3gb/s via Amazon app prime account with SHOWTIME added.

I also have a PC with an HDMI 2.0 cable an Intel i3 540 with 1080p on chip HD graphics which I could and may stream it after the first 7 day Amazon free trial ends.

I can get a 30 day free SHOWTIME trial and play it from the PC.

Audio will be when using the Amazon App from TV optical digital out to coax converter to a Resolution Audio Opus 21 digital input through a BAT VK 200 and Hales Revelation III 10" sealed box speakers .

If I switch to the PC there's an M-Audio AP 192 sound-card coax out instead of the optical out from the TV.
