>its really really over
lets just let that sink in for a moment
it all felt a little rushed to me, i would of preferred
>none of the intro bullshit
>word has spread about jack being captured by aku
>aku is about to kill jack and all his friends rescue him
>jack rescues ashi
>they team up and fight aku together
>aku dies and taunts jack that he will never get back to the past
>jack doesn't care anymore
>he has all his friends and the women he loves around him
>we see a montage of jack starting a family with ashi
>because aku is dead jack is now ageing
>we see an older jack, he is now "king jack"
now there are two possible endings i see from here
>jack dies and ashi takes there daughter to the big statue of him and explains what he did and how great he was
or
>jack looks over his kingdom with his friends and family surrounding him
>hes happy
>he smiles as we fade to black

agree senpai
>>83000740
>fuck everybody in the past my happiness is what's important
Take your jewy philosophy and get right the fuck out
Fuck I need something uplifting to distract me from the depressing entertainment I use to distract me from my depressing life.

He had to get back, back to the past, since it was his thing forever.
But for fucks sake cant we just have a happy ending? It really feels like every show these days needs to have a happy or bittersweet ending.
>>83002087
a part 2 alternate ending would have maybe been nice
>>83002087
how about
>ashi dies after a long marriage with her in the future
>almost all of jacks friends are dead
>he says farewell to the remaining friends
>he finds the guardian
>he seems surprised to see him
>finally your ready
>he fights the guardian and enters the portal
>he kills aku
>he is celebrated among the land
>jack sits in the cherry blossom field
>the lady bug things happen
>fade to black
>>83002409
Better, but there was no way they could have plugged the obvious plot hole that would have been
>Why didn't Ashi just send him back, back to the past?
>>83002512
when aku dies ashi loses all connection to him including his powers
>>83002551
Oh, yeah that would have worked.
Then they could have ended it without it being so close to TTGL
The Ashi dying becasuse of >time paradox< kind of spoils it. Should have died because Aku died and that would be it.
I don't hate the ending thematically.
