98% of fantasy shows are shit. Stop expecting "the next" game of thrones.

GoT only prevails as a political drama, not a fantasy show. It's primarily about characters and not lore. Most fantasy (especially modern fantasy) has awful characters and dresses it up in generic lore to make it more palletable.

Tell a story. Dont show us one. This is the #1 mistake in modern cinema

Something classic HBO. The last season of GoT was absolutely unwatchable. I had a 2 or 3 week break between most episodes.

Something about a gangster, Escobar or Mesrine, maybe.

they don't really have anything that seems like it will be a big hit in their upcoming series list, that's probably why they are working on so many game of thrones spinoffs
