This is always enjoyable, especially when Christianity is being mocked. It's so transparent that the writer is either Jewish, or raised secular, and is critiquing something they literally haven't even bothered researching on it's most basic level

What are you talking about? The point of the post is that there has existed a bone deep irreverence for the Pope since Protestant's outset, a irreverence made even more extreme in Evangelicalism. The fact that someone is writing a Christian character that is mean to be evangelical but is pro-Pope, or uses Iconography, or says Hail Mary's, belies an ignorance on the authors part. My point was that modern Christians are a forgiving lot, to a fault sometimes, so they don't all have a thriving hatred of Catholicism. Besides, the Catholics have some beautiful churches and cathedrals.
