Yeah well, James Bond parody (or just spy shit in general) goes hand-in-hand with the 60's. And 90's humor is completely shit.

The only good parts are the Dr Evil scenes anyways. I also love the opening to Goldmember which is more 2000's action than 90's comedy.

Honestly, I think the series' success has to do with great merchandising and the fact it came out in a time when its audience had vague memories of the 60s.
