Could have watched it at 15,16,17 or 18. It's not the hardest film in the world to understand. Just wait for the action packed remake it'll probably suit you better.

Bladerunner is a movie that is more of a buffet for the eyes - it's great in its visual production.

The writing is top notch, as is its acting.

The story/plot is very bland, especially as a person in this time and place (assuming you're American).

However, it all comes together so fucking beautifully. Everything is there and it fits together perfectly. Of course Harrison Ford plays a fantastic protagonist.

The thing that strikes me about the film is that so very little is actually happening, plot-wise; however, the cinematography and production make it feel all the more epic (not in the sense of le maymays, but in the sense of epic poems).

Really a solid 8/10 film. If you're an adult and have not seen it, you simply must.
