There's a difference between evil and douche. Having your soul turned to darkness means you still retain your old personality but are now lacking the conscience that drives you away from evil acts. A good vampire character would become more cold and pragmatic, not inexplicably morph into a gigantic suave asshole who fucks with people "for te evuls".

On a side note, Dracula Untold was a great fucking movie about a "good" vampire, with a genuinely interesting protagonist that I wish would get a sequel.
