I actually saw Blade Runner for the first time this past week with just a light buzz, I liked it a lot despite knowing the basic plot (and twist) already, Usually I watch movies blackout drunk though. The only time it's seriously affected my memory is for the end of Kubo and the Two Strings and the entirety of Newsies. I know for a fact that I've watched Newsies, cover to cover, but I couldn't describe a single scene to you.

I seriously cut back my drinking recently when it started affecting my wallet and because I would get the shakes after just a few hours. I used weed to help me do that, I'm sure it would be much harder otherwise. I tried to do the first two nights clean and it was hell. Now I just drink a reasonable amount every few weeks or so and use marijuana as my mind reliever. It's much better for my health, mood, and work performance but I don't like how a really good high always fucks my memory. I miss alchohol.
