>>

My favorite Futurama joke isn't even that clever, but it's in the Star Trek one when the plan fails after they explained the plan with a simple balloon analogy

Fry: Like a balloon, and... something bad happens!
>>
If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards... checkmate.

>Einstein's a hard name to remember!
>>
Not sure what the best one is, but I liked the opposite world one and golden bender says "bite my glorious golden ass."
>>
Futurama is funnier than the Simpsons because it doesn't have to compete with a retarded counterpart.
>>
>I'm sorry you had to see that, Fry. Usually I keep my sadness pent up inside where it can fester quietly as a mental illness.
>>
>No fair! You changed the outcome by measuring it!
>>
>Everyone has been completely brainwashed!
>Hey everybody! Let's go vote third party!

I also love the one where something releases chlorine gas and all the living things run away. But Bender laughs at them until he remembers chlorine rusts metal.

>news mentions Turanga Leela

>Amy: "That's her name Phillip"

That's my favorite at least
>>

Sadly this guy is right. I did a re-watch this year, and i had to stop watching halfway through season 6. It's not a bad show, but it pales in comparison to the earlier seasons.

Not only were the jokes bad, the stories were contrived and uninteresting and the characters are both caricatures and empty cardboard cut-outs.

My favorite is visual joke from the first Xmas episode. It's when Fry was on the skyscraper hanging on the digital clock, then as it changes numbers, he gets closer to falling. That episode is an all time classic. I love how it starts out with them not wanting to cause any paradoxes and as it goes on, they all care less and less.

Billy West does a great Nixon, not accurate necessarily but funny, so they made Nixon a recurring role. That's it. A lot of characters are decided based on the voices that the actors can do.

Listen here, Missy. Computers may be twice as fast as they were in 1973, but your average voter is as drunk and stupid as ever. The only thing that's different is me; I've become bitter, and let's face it, crazy over the years. And once I'm swept into office, I'll sell our children's organs to zoos for meat, and I'll go into people's houses at night and wreck up the place. Muahahaha!

i use this at absolutely every possible opportunity.
which is surprisingly often.

for a long time i thought it was incorrect, surely when e.g. they delivered the pillows and had ot use the dolly because of extreme gravity, the weight of the air would mean a huge pressure on the outside of the ship.
of course in reality there would be no reason not to equalise pressure since it was presumably breathable air.
