I think Bill Nye took the wrong approach by trying to date the Earth and the methods he used. Ken Ham was able to make a strong point that these methods are untrustworthy and not consistent. Nye obviously tried to use facts and science where Ham seemed to try and doubt the scientific method. It wasn't my facts are better than your facts but rather, Ham stating that the method which gave Nye his facts is faulty and thus perhaps the facts are faulty. So when if you try to argue how well Ham did, you can't really say he presented a strong argument for creationism but rather tried to arise some doubt in Nye's position. Which he did to an extent.
