What, in your opinion, is the best Seinfeld episode?
Might be an unpopular choice but I always loved The Puerto Rican Day
>>82880559
The Race
The way the stories of each character play off of each other in that episode is amazing.
My favorite lowkey Christmas episode too. I always make sure to recommend this episode over the Festivus episode at christmastime.
The one where Kramer gets into a money making scheme, George invents a series of lies to avoid taking blame for something, Elaine deals with a difficult boss or coworkers, and Jerry breaks up with an attractive girlfriend for a dumb reason.
>>82880698
>>82880698
so the entire show?
the one with the whale
>>82880559
The Boyfriend 1 & 2. George working harder than he does at any job he's ever had to stay unemployed, Kramer and Newman and the magic loogie, and Elaine and Jerry dating Keith Hernandez.
>>82880559
Picking one it tough.
The Hamptons, The Contest, The Opposite, The Puffy Shirt and The Chinese Restaurant off the top of my head
>>82880559
"My Mother Caught Me."
Groundbreaking in it's day.
Still makes evry guy's dik soft when they watch it.
>>82880559
The Outing, though it's hard to choose just one
The Jimmy
>>82881056
>The Outing
Oh shit, I forgot about this one. This one is great.
The Chicken Roaster always gets me
>>82880559
The one where George becomes the leader of the Aryan nation. That shit was brilliant.
>>82881452
>Astroturf?! You know who's responsible for that, don't you? The Jews!
The Contest, Serenity Now, The Blood, The Checks
The Boyfriend, The Susie, The Nap. The Hamptons is also fantastic
>Yeah I saw Jane topless. Well we all saw her
the one where george does the opposite of everything
or any george episode really
The fire
"The Doll"
this scene wrecks me every time

I just love it when he's acting like either of his parents. What a disturbed little man.
>>82882177
'The Opposite' Yep, best episode
>>82882370
You'd have to be insane to eat that hot dog! It's been there since the 50s
>now now that's a perfectly SANE food to eat
>>82880559
the 9/11 one
There was an anon who had a 24/7 Seinfeld stream going. Does anyone have the URL?
>>82880606
Jerry and the writers had all these retarded ideas in the last season or so to try to make these self-contained episodes that take place over a couple of hours to try to emulate the success of classic episodes like the Chinese Restaurant. E.g. Puerto Rican Day Parade, that one where Jerry buys a car and they're at the dealership all day while George is hungry. They were all just shitty generic sitcom-tier episodes.
Puerto Rican Day Parade is especially dumb because the premise was that Jerry HAD to catch the Mets game after leaving early. Later seasons Jerry was a complete sociopath who hadn't done any normal thing like watch baseball in years. Such a weird throwback to how his character was the first two or three seasons.
>>82880559
The one where they go to India and George tries to sleep with Jerry's gf to get back at him.
bubble boy
Jerk store
>>82882705
What kind of society do we live in where heros are mocked, brace men cast as villains?
How do you live with yourself?
It's not easy
Don't remember the episode name, but the scene where George is caught eating food out of the garbage and when he talks about it with Jerry is fucking hilarious
>>82882851
The Gymnast?
>>82882851
The one where he's going to marry his fiance right? When he's with her mother?
The episode where Kramer becomes a tour bus driver.
>>82880606
>Puerto Rican Day
definitely in my Top 10
best episode of that last season
>>82880857
wow you're bright huh
>>82880559
The Subway was always a great episode, imo.
>patricians choice
The Boyfriend or The Contest
>>82882760
Anybody? It had a Chatango sidebar for chat.
>>82883014
The episodes where Frank gets angry are always the best.
>You couldn't smooth a silk sheet if you had a hot date with a babe....
The episode with the Merv Griffin show set in Kramer's apartment.
Holy shit him interviewing everyone was so great.
Best line:
Kramer: "It was a grind filling 12 hours a day. I don't I was ready to have my own talk show set".
>>82883161
I almost forgot about that. Those scenes killed me, especially when he cut to commercial and just went to town on some chips
>>82882851
I don't care what anyone says, that eclair George ate out of the trash looked fucking delicious.
>>82883184
Then Newman and Jerry were arguing and Kramer said "Alright everyone, we're back!" and everyone straightens up.
https://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=3wMoGSwoZLA
Always fucking gets me
>>82882896
I could have sworn it involved Susan's mother but looking it up I think this anon is right >>82882880
The Slicer is also great.
>george is in old photo with his boss
>george gets himself airbrushed out of photo
>airbrusher takes out the boss and leaves george
>george has to somehow get a picture of boss with his shirt off
>sets up a cancer screening in the office and after wacky shenanigans Kramer wearing his meat slicer coat is mistaken for the doctor
>kramer sees suspicious mole, takes photo, and tells george
>george gets current photo of Kruger put into photo, all is well
>george tells kruger he should get the mole looked at
>kruger looks at photo and says "this photo was taken 10 years ago and that mole looks the same as today"
Holy shit, I'm dying just writing this.

Context for this. I think Larry actually did eat the eclair from the garbage.
>"Let me get this straight. You see some food in the receptacle. You think to yourself, 'What the hell, I'll just eat some trash.'"
>>82882851
The Bottle Deposits. Hour long, one of the only really good Kramer schemes, probably Newman's meatiest role in any episode.
George's storyline in it about trying to decipher Wilhelm's clues about the project he's supposed to be doing is also one of the stronger George at the Yankees plots.
the boyfriend
>back, and to the left
>and you want to be my latex salesman
the summer of george
>>82883430
this one was fucking great
>>82883014

>>82881316
Kenny?
KEN- NY
For me one of my favorites is the one with Elaines sexy voice tape
>>82883430
Downtown, George, there's your answer
The one where Kramer adopts a highway mile and ends up painting black over 2 of the white lanes to make it a "luxury wide lanes" strip of the highway.
>>82883510
>and you want to be my latex salesman
Apparently that was ad libed. One of my favorite lines of the series.
>>82883630
>newman dragging the sewing machine and his mailcar catches on fire
If any of you have not watched Curb yet, do that right away.
Just watched the Black Swan/country club episode, I was near tears from laughing at parts.
>>82880698
I really liked that one

The mailcar that was carrying illegal fish from the restaurant that wouldn't deliver to Elaine's apartment (with the mailcar hitting the sewing machine that fell out of Elaine's car who was swerving in Kramer's wide lanes).

Seinfeld had some incredible one-off characters
>>82880559
The Opposite
The most overrated episode is Bubble Boy.
the episode with the race should have been the series finale
>>82883852
MOOPS
>>82883730
I agree Seinfeld is better, but Curb is still top tier.
Elaine: "I believe you all know Dr. Zaius"
>>82883743
It was like an old man waiting in line at a deli.
>>82883871
tbf that coat looks comfy af
>>82883861
MOORS
The one where Play Now toys was trying to squeeze George out of his job for not being handicapped.
George: "I'm like a weed, Jerry."
Jerry: "Oh yeah"
George: "I'm like Hilter's last day's here".
Jerry: "I thought you were like a weed?"
George: "Yeah, I'm a weed in Hitlers bunker"
>>82883871
>>82883871
Puddy is so great, I think he might be my favorite character.
>you will never bet on incoming flights at the airport with a rich texas oil tycoon
>>82883956
He wore that 8 Ball coat all the way to the finale.
>>82883917
Is that Gore tex?
>>82884010
This show had a lot of coats episodes.
There was also the one with Jerry's suede coat getting ruined in the rain.
>>82880875
Marine Biologist
>>82884033
I remember an early one that involved Kramer attempting to get his coat back from his mother's boyfriend or something.
the birthday wishes episode
>>82883630
OOOOONCE
Twice.
The Mango
This show had so many memorable minor characters. I just looked it up, and Puddy only appeared in 11, Kenny Bania in 7, Jackie Chiles in 6.
Frank Costanza, Newman, and Mr. Steinbrenner too. That supporting cast was sick.
Kramer: "Darren, if you had told me that five years ago that we would be solving the worlds energy crisis, I'd had said you were crazy. Now lets push this giant ball of oil out the window."
>>82883917
>costanza
MORE LIKE CANTSTANDYA

I got it
what if we put ketchup and msutard in the same tube
>>82884469
But it also had Sally Weaver, one of the worst ever (why they brought her back again I'll never know).
Also, it had the best "unseen" characters in Bob Sacamano and Lomez.
What would Seinfeld set in the 21st century be like?
>>82884549
>What would Seinfeld set in the 21st century be like?
Just look at those "Modern Seinfeld" twitter shits.
Seinfeld couldn't be made nowadays. George would have to be black. Elaine a lesbian. Newman a trans. And the connecting stories would confuse millenials.
>>82884500
Darren's going away for a long time.
>>82884587
Curb Your Enthusiasm or maybe tangentially Always Sunny is about as close as you'll get.
>>82884516
The sally weaver character was not intended to be likeable though...
Agree on the unseen characters. Does Steinbrenner count as an unseen character?
>>82884626
Always Sunny was pretty good up until they hired those female writers, after that it all went to shit.
>>82884652
>Does Steinbrenner count as an unseen character?
Yes, but I should have been more specific by saying "unseen and unheard", basically only mentioned by someone.
>crtl f 'fusilli jerry'
>nothing
who knew I shared this board with such piss-drinking plebs. all of you should neck yourselves

That smell. I know that smell. The calzones! Costanza's in the building with the calzones!

you can see jerry trying not to laugh or smile this entire scene. I was watching magnolia the other week and all I could think of was this.
Elaine a cute. A CUTE!

The Race or The Marine Biologist
Honorable mention to The Gymnast
The Junior Mints episode is a great one

suck him off Jerry, and tie me up in the corner. I wanna watch.
Alright /tv/, was Jerry in the right accepting that NASA pen?
Pretty hot under these lights, eh, Seinfeld?
>>82885704
This fucking scene is perfect. It comes out of nowhere and there's no other scenes in the show like it

Technically yea but dealing with old people like that he should have known better than to take it.

wow you're bright huh

>>82880559
>four metropolitan bikes act like assholes to literally everyone they come across, are constantly scamming, scheming, and ripping people off and then wonder why everyone hates them
Literally a story about Weimer Germany.
I just started watching this for the first time yesterday. I'm enjoying the show but his stand up is cringy af. All those white people in wooly jumpers laughing
>>82887832
Yeah it's not that good and he is not a very cool actor either but somehow I've rewatched the show at least three times in the last two years.
Also his ex is cute as hell. And the dude said the rent is only 400 dollers a month. Fuck me I pay close to 900 for one bedroom
The one with the yogurt, I forget the name. I'm guessing, "The Yogurt". Only one I know of that involves actual censoring of any words.

It's like 20+ years old. I'm sure the jokes are past their expiry date
The one where Elaine forces me to lick her sweaty jew muff to the point of orgasm just for the opportunity to be considered sponge worthy
>>82886309
Please leave a messaaaaaage at the beep.
I must be out or i'd pick up the phone, wheeeeeere could I be ?

I think the fact that Seinfeld couldn't act made his acting so great
Especially when he act like he's angry
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wccoNp17he8
>>82880559
Impossible, but the most Seinfeld Episode there's
The Chinese Restaurant
My favourite though: Probably 'The Blood'
>>82889642
Seinfeld couldn't act, his character was the most bland and uninteresting of the four and his standup was the worst part of the show. The guy basically won the lottery when he got his show.
>>82889580
Updog who?
Soup Nazi
>>82889734
I just realised you absolutely right
Truly the intro and outro standup are the fucking shit
You could not make the episode where Jerry drugs the woman to play with her toys in today's world.
Chinese Restaurant
>>82880559
the one where elaine takes BBC
