Nah, that film is a bit of a mess but it isn't as bad as Resurrection and it tonally fits the Marvel cinematic universe. Resurrection is a total mess that feels more like a parody of Alien than an actual Alien film.

If you can be a big boy and detach it from the genre-less mess alien franchise and a set of ear plugs for every time winona rider is on screen this is a pretty easy going entertaining movie. All the deformed clones were neat.

Hey, the Alien franchise didn't become a mess until after this awful movie came out. Alien and Aliens are fantastic, Alien 3 is very flawed but it tonally fits the series and properly ended Ripley. Resurrection is when the franchise started to indulge in silly fanfic style bullshit.
