didn't watch free tv in aus for a decade, for anymore than maybe 5-10 minutes of it a year. as soon as i got my own computer i was into gaming on it and had no time to watch tv then once i started to watch tv shows i could just get them on my computer whenever i wanted.

i've watched it a few times in the last few months though. man, the advertisements are insane, it is legitimately amazing how mind numbingly fake and dumb they are. i don't know how we stay so conditioned to not find them jarringly bad. when my parents or whoever are watching free tv trash if i'm at their place i f eel like autistically screeching now..

I have network tv on in the background and stick to 11 and 73 because it just has re-runs of old sitcoms and cartoons I've seen thousands of times.

The actual primetime shit that is supposed to be their marquee show is absolutely unwatchable.
