I'm on PTP. I take their best movies and upload them to public trackers so my torrent client has a really high share ratio.

Private and unlisted newsgroups have MUCH better stuff. It's just that kids don't know how to use them. But not having to seed files is a godsend. As is getting 20+GB rips weeks before a release. And it's all safe, no p2p, no exposed IPs, all VPN

People who say they don't want to be/or there is no need to be on a private tracker have never had the actual experience and don't understand what it is for.

It's NOT for getting stuff that can't be found elsewhere, almost all stuff can be found elsewhere, the internet is a big place. But it is also a big place filled with endless garbage that you have to carefully sift through to make sure you actually get what you wanted in the quality you wanted it in any sort of timely manner.

What they ARE for is a site that has an extremely detailed, organized and cataloged system to allow you to easily and thoroughly search for what you want and to know exactly what you are getting before actually having gotten it.
