Has anyone here watched this show? What did you think of it? Despite being a rather "dark and gritty" version of anne of green gables, I still found it pretty comfy. What are your thoughts on the cliffhanger ending?

This is pretty good. 'Dark and gritty' Anne of Green Gables sounds dumb, but they pull it off reasonably well.

It's pretty good. I like how they perfectly captured the social norms of the time. People would be a total asshole right to your face in large groups, but keep positive emotions bottled up to a ridiculous extent.

It's been getting negative reviews for being too realistic, I guess people don't like the more dramatic Anne. I thought her outbursts were kind of annoying at first, but she definitely grew on me since she has such development from all her experiences.
