I've always felt that people like Jimmy Fallon and Ryan Seacrest are complete sociopaths who managed to manipulate their way to stardom.

You can tell nothing about them is genuine, from their fake laugh to their fake smile and dead eyes. You can literally feel how much energy they spend maintaining this charade, they look permanently exhausted at all times.

I just dislike that the actual form of the "talk show" itself was killed due in large part to Fallon's producers, higher-ups or whatever. No longer is it about a watching a show from start to end but instead, producing small youtube-sized chunks for consumption.

I love Conan as a comedian. His remote segments are funny, he wrote for SNL during a great era, his work in The Simpsons was phenomenal. They don't air his show in my country anymore so I watch videos on Team Coco Youtube page sometimes. They recently started uploading the monologues and boy, do they suck or what. He really should get new writers. Or just abandon the tired old late night format and talk to his guests for 40 minutes. No monologues, no sketches etc.
