From what I heard they're picking up after Halloween II, so more likey its gonna be an retro 80s horror movie.

Green and McBride are pretty competent filmmakers and i have faith in this project.

Sounds like it'll take place after the events of the original film and it'll ignore all of the sequels. The question is when will it be set? Present day would be a bit weird, Michael was 21 in 1978 so he would be 61 in 2018 and a decrepit Michael wouldn't be scary.

Wasn't there rumors that it was going to be set in a prison? Like he was to be executed but something goes wrong and he gets loose in the prison. I don't have high hopes. The series should have ended at H20
