I was thinking about this earlier. What I think will happen is, Nacho will try to kill hector because of his ambition and need to be in control. At this point I think Gus will take out Nacho. Gus doesn't like people who fall out of line, that's why he was trying to replace Walt; Walt wouldn't settle down. That's also why he killed the one dude who watched Walt and jesse cook, he was going on what he was supposed to do.

I'm really having trouble believing that some of this board didn't see the importance of these two characters having an interaction/dispute. I've seen some claiming that Better Call Saul suffers from "prequelitis" which sounds ridiculous.

Mike having a dispute with Tijo, Tuco's uncle, is very important. Let's do a rundown on why

When everything in Breaking Bad crumbles (Gus dying, the laundromat meth lab being discovered) Mike is extremely nervous and hotheaded. He blames Walt and says that everything was fine and in place before he came along and fucked it up, and now we have some insight as to why he reacted like that. Mike clearly got in the business of working for Gustavo to get protection from the Cartel, because they're in some sort of "agreement" to at least not shoot one another. Gus mentioned having control north of the border whereas the Cartel controls the south of it, so clearly there is some sort of agreement or deal between the two. When Gus is killed, that deal is immediately thrown up in the air meaning Mike's protection is no longer a thing. That puts him and his family at danger, which is why we see him getting ready to skip town, leave money in Kaylee's account, and disappear completely before Walt kills him.

Mike killed in Breaking Bad because he had to, because that's what working for Gus meant. That's what having protection meant - killing for it. Mike wouldn't kill Walt, because if the circumstances aren't met Mike won't kill at all. He probably knew his death was coming from the Cartel anyway
