was it good?

Mostly yes
It was Meh/Not bad/Okay
He needs to get back to his 10/10 podcast by god!

>are those motherfuckers golfing?
it was good
It was comfy/10.
Nothing spectacular, but pretty good.
>>82832718
this. It was very comfy and easy to sit through.

Reminds me of that tragedy.
I got to the part about him liking those little party sandwiches then turned it off. Too boring, didn't find any of it funny.
>>82831218
I like him but I guess after watching this I don't really care for his standup. Too pedestrian for me. My palate has been forever tainted by Bill Burr and Louis Ck.

Podcast is coming back in late this year according to the producer on twitter

Darth Plagueis?

It opened my eyes to how perceptive Norm is. I thought he was this vaguely disapproving but truly talented conservative satirist but his stand up isn't political at all. He's just an ol lump of coal.
>>82835679
No one has ever made me laugh more than Norm, but for whatever reason his stand up doesn't live up to his radio or television spots. He's much funnier, in my opinion, when he interacts with someone else.
Here's three hours of Norm material on the Dennis Miller radio show - well worth a listen:

>hey guys did you see that thing?
>*audience laugh*
>I mean, what the hell?!
>*audience laugh even more*
Basically sums up every jokes
>>82836963
A lot of "conservative" comedians don't do political humor at all.

It's just next to the rickety stool shop
It was hilarious. I don't know what you guys were watching. The consensus among stand-ups is also that Norm has been among the best for a long time.
Do you guys not enjoy standup generally?
Didn't he do the las vegas/small town whores joke before? Pretty sure I heard him tell it before
His OJ Simpson stuff on SNL was genius.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3dmTystPKk
Also his long ridiculous joke about a moth going to the doctors, which most people already know the punchline to.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE6QzDrT_x8
I have watched the latest american standup artists on netflix and it's pretty bad.
Is this really what america has to offer?

Leave the old chunk of coal alone.
>>82837907
did it on letterman
comedians reuse jokes, it's just the ones you follow enough to notice disappoint you doing it
Yeah, it was good, great even, but we've heard a lot of these jokes before, which tempers it a bit.
Norm has sort of ascended the guise of standup, his acumen now lies in his sublime literally prowess.
Lee Majors joke. Holy shit.
Why don't you just say 87?
Saw 20 minutes then i got bored and did something else
few days later i saw the whole thing, it was alright but his energy needs a certain viewer frequency in order to not be bored of his presence.
Can I put it in my contract that I'm sad?
it was just OK, granted a lot of the material was not new for me.
You gotta use metaphors
>the funniest people conversationally don't have good specials
What did Norm, Patrice, and Norton mean by this?
>>82837519
>>82838054
I'm picturing Norm doing this and it's fucking hilarious
>>82835963
Last year he said it'd be back in January, so take that with a big grain of salt.
>>82837099
I always fall asleep to this, or the 30 minute "high lights" version.
>DENNIS?
>he goes by ben matlock now
>let me get my ol' pal rusty
>i hope you like the place i was just defecating in it
>i wanna have one hot ass
>im thankful for bread, though ive never had it i hear its quite good
>>82831218
it was OK
>>82838561
How much does something like that pay a fella
>>82839028
They are probably referring to Colin Quinn. I only saw his early 90's HBO special - it was men. His one man shows were pretty good. But tough crowd and his appearances on o&a were pure gold. I think Norton has said a couple of times that Colin is the funniest person ever. Not comedian.

>bearded new yorkers
using this from now on
>Netflix has the performers get a bonus if they mention watching Netflix during the special.
>Chappelle and Schumer both shoehorn Netflix references in.
>Norm tells a joke about watching MeTV.
>"Can you put it in the contract that I'm sad?"
pretty shit special but I appreciated that. The 20 minutes on suicide were pretty meh.
