Great movie. Doesn't really take itself too seriously, everyone looks like they're having fun. Kino ending in the prison
I like it and the part with rodney made me laugh my dick off, I think it's unironically downeys best roll/utilization ever - like nicholas cage in bad lieutenant
I think people who write it off as edgy didn't get it or are just contrarian, if you took this shit seriously you're a turd.
it's shit

Perfect summary
It's unfortunate that's plebs took the exact opposite meaning the film was going for.
Really excellently acted film too, woody and Juliette are great.

one of Oliver Stone's best. Quentin Tarantino wrote a good script. the Rodney Dangerfield scene is legendary.
>>82825687
Terrible, particularly because of the two uncharismatic leads.
I don't get why it is noteworthy, I thought it fucking sucked when I watched it not long ago.
This is the only scene I like from the movie:

It still fucking blows, though.

Makes my wife super horny, so I guess it's okay in my book

Please elaborate.
No way, the happy ending for the killers could happen, I mean everybody would be looking for them, after that prison thing.
>>82825687
I watched this when I was 16 because it was written by Tarantino although I knew he hated watch Stone did to the screenplay. Given what I heard I watched it and loved the first few minutes. Then it went downhill and began to become unwatchable shit.
I hate this movie. I haven't seen it in 11 years and never would watch it again.

Lessen up on the commas. What you said makes no sense in what you were trying to say. You're using them completely wrong.
>>82827896
Sorry teacher no commas ever.

Just trying to help.
>No way the happy ending for the killers could happen..
Someone says the ending couldn't happen
>No way, the happy ending for the killers could happen (because..)
>>82828371
Commas for some, plastic American flags for others.
Couldn't make it through the end.Nothing special to say, just boring.

Apology accepted
Sorry too
Let's just forget the whole thing?
>tfw you can't say kill the fucking Indian in movies anymore
>>82826765
I'm mainly talking about how the film was created as a commentary on the way that the media covers violent crimes, but in turn the film created a lot of imitation killers who were extensively covered by the media at the time, effectively glorifying their crimes.
only good RDJ flick
