A group of children is recruited by a strange old man after everyone in the town except them is murdered by eldritch cultists and abominations that can only be stopped with the music of the gods

A group of hard working hard drinking Australian University students transfer to UCS Berkley for a semester abroad thinking it'll be all football and frat parties. Little do they know they can't buy booze till 21 and frat parties aren't allowed anymore.

Five friends go camping in a national park; one of them goes missing. After much searching they come up empty handed, report the incident to the police and go home. The next day their stories don't quite match up; somebody isn't telling the truth. Queue mystery theme music.

The next season will have our missing character suddenly turn up and not remember what happened. The town will be in an uproar because they think she's been kidnapped by one of the backwoods folk. She struggles to get her life back together, but we still don't know what happened.

The next season we'll jump the shark and it will be that aliens abducted her and screwed with their minds so the stories didn't match up.

Now that we've gone crazy we can add in Bigfoot, Fairies, Ghosts (and ghost aliens) and Skinwalkers (Along with whatever the fuck else) that are warring over the sacred land that the town rests on.

The next season we'll introduce The Snow Queen, and her happy ditzy friend! It will really help tie things in together and give some promotional value to this cool new movie we'll have coming out.

Now the fans are complaining super hard, especially because our female lost girl has tons of powers and is good at hacking, and is leading the resistance. So we dial things back and we make all the supernatural stuff integrate into society. Now it's a super gritty drama about our lost girl searching for the answers she never got about her abduction. We'll learn that she's super special and has powers, and that she can't die, and that she's just the best.

Next season her and Snow Queen duke it out over who can control the land, while our other four friends are trying to stop it (But they each have their own motivations so they also keep lying to each other about every little stupid fucking thing)

Then the show will just keep going like that on and on forever and everyone will hate it, but it will keep getting inexplicably great ratings until somebody kills it.

Story follows professors and students uncovering eldritch truths in arkham and the sureoundoing areas. Very few recurring characters and each 1hour episode follows a different character that either goes mad or dies. Stories would follow certain lovecraft's (or derleth's) stories like colour out of space, whisperer in darkness.
The whole show ends with The Mountain of Madness 1:30 long short movie.

The story follows a guy called Jonathan Carter that moves to this other dimension when he goes to sleep and has crazy fucking adventures following the "dreamland cycle" stories lovecraft wrote. The show mainly consists of his life in the dream exploring Kadath the moon and all the areas and adventures but is underlined with his real life that is dark and mundane and he is depressed but theives and has crazy adventures in the dream. Also has an episode "lost silver key" following the character when he is odler and forgets how to dream.
May be animated like pic related but for older audience.
