The writers have repeatedly said that they looked at the origin stories of prophets when writing Kevin Jr.'s arc, so it would be fair to say that he is a prophet absent any evidence to the contrary.

Maybe if you want to try and get deep that's the point of the season ...... but if your going to make it feel like your building up to some huge event and nothing happens it's almost like the opposite, the audience is expecting nothing to happen and BAM something does

They keep debunking all these mysteries to keep expatriations low so we the audience are like the people in the show before the event happened and things are back to normal... and the whole point of the GL was not to forget
