We had a formal debutante instead and I had to go with my cousin... I wish I was kidding... I did get to feel her up thou and she was hot back them so it wasn't all bad.

I never went to my prom and have no regrets about not doing so. I hate talking to people whose entire lives peaked either in high school or college.

Didn't go

WIllingly didn't go. Nothing about it seemed fun. Lost me a gf at the time too but it was the principle of the thing dammit.

Parent warned that I'd regret it if I didnt go. Still waiting for that regret to hit a decade after the fact.

I also didn't go to my graduation or waste money on a class ring. All of which confounded my parents.

I did go to the gf's "ring dance" which I didn't even know was a thing and one of her insipid JROTC dances. Such a waste of time.
